Puppy Basics
For puppies up to 6 months of age
Saturday mornings 9.30am - 10.15am
£10 a week
(payable in advance in monthly blocks)
Getting a puppy is an exciting time and there is always so much to learn and find out about.
Our Puppy classes give you and your pup the opportunity to learn about the basics of training to set you off on the right path.
Our classes cover the basics of:

Socialising your pup and introducing them to the big wide world.

Understanding the basics of how good training works.

Opportunities to talk through any specific problems you may be encountering or worries you may have.
We keep the group sizes small so that you and your pup are not overwhelmed and it allows for each person to get the time from the trainer that they need.
Pups can attend classes as soon as your Vet has stated that they are able to do so following their second vaccination.

These are all common areas dog owners want to work on.
Our Training basics classes guide you through the basics of training your dog and working towards eliminating unwanted behaviours and promoting those you want to see.
We will work with you to to support the understanding of basic dog training techniques. Class sizes are small so that we can really focus on each owner and dog and make sure you get the most out of each session.
The nature of the class environment means that this class is only open to those dogs that are non reactive to other dogs and people. If you have a dog that is more reactive, please contact us for information about 121 sessions.

Mix your dog training up!

Our Mix training group could be for you!
This group is open to dog owners who have already achieved a level of dog training. We introduce you to the basics of various different dog activities including:

Fun Hoopers basics

Fun Flyball basics

Talking dogs Rally
-
Basic scent work.
All dogs attending must be over 12 months of age and have achieved reasonable level of training meaning that they are non reactive to other dogs and able to work off lead with reasonable control.
Places are limited and require booking in advance.

1-2-1 Training
Some dogs are just not suited to group training classes. For whatever reason they become too distracted or are just uncomfortable around other dogs.
Fen Acre Dogs is able to offer 121 training sessions for dog owners at our very own training paddock.
Through consultation with you, we can work on a range of different skills and levels.
121 session prices start from £25 per hour.

FUN 121 AGILITY

During the Spring, Summer and early Autumn, Fen Acre offers Fun Agility sessions. These tend to be on a 121 basis and allows you and your dog to learn the basics of agility.
Sessions last for 1 hour and prices start from £25.
We are now taking bookings for 121 Fun Agility sessions at the Fen Acre training paddock.
